How does economy affect me and my family?

The economy here in Saipan has affected me badly. The big thing is the power situation. Before we always on the lights everywhere in the house and just leave them on but now we have to off all the lights when we are not using it at night. I think the economy is bad because the gas prices have gone up. The economy effects me badly. It is not fun to always be using the water and then always turn it off and the we have to turn it on again. Sometimes the bill gets raised up like up to $300 only on water. That is why we always use a little water now, We still use the water at my house beu we just don't leave it on that much. It is also the lights, sometimes we could just off the lights when we are done using the bookroom. People should learn how to save power. Who likes to pay a lot just on power, we have other things and sometimes the bill is just to big. The Gas prices keeps getting raised up. How will people going to spend a lot on power, a lot on gas and then food to feed their family. Saipan is a small island and this is how the economy will be, It is not good for the people.
